Xi’anInternationalSchooloperatesundertheapprovaloftheShaanxiProvincialBureauofEducationandislicensedbytheStateMinistryofEducationinBeijing.ThenameXi’anInternationalSchoolwasapprovedbytheStateMinistryofEducationanddoesnotindicaterelationshipwithanyotherschool.Xi’anInternationalSchoolisanon-profitentity.Xi’anInternationalSchoolwasfoundedinMarch1997withthehelpoftheShaanxiProvincialBureauofEducation.OurfirstteacherandprincipalwasEstherKenyon,whotaughtelevenstudentsspanningeightgradesinaone-roomschoolhouse.TheschoolwasformallygrantedlicensetooperatebytheStateMinistryofEducationinBeijingin1999andcelebrateditsGrandOpeningintheAugustofthatyear.In2009Xi’anInternationalSchoolmovedtoitscurrentlocation.Ournewfacilitiesconsistnotonlyofcoreclassroomsbutofaplayingfield,anenclosedgym,alibrary,activityrooms,twosciencelabs,amusicroom,anartroom,Chineselearningclassrooms,akitchen,acafeteria,andalsoawoodworkshop.西安国际学校自1997年获得营业执照以来，在西安作为一所国际学校开始运营。我们为学前班至十二年级的学生提供全面的美国课程。每班/年级都由一名合格并受过本科教育以英语为母语的北美教师授课，其中许多人拥有硕士学位。
